Some sections of the newly constructed cycle path west of Piolenc are genuinely dangerous. If you're suddenly jolted by small, sharp bumps while riding, you could easily be thrown off. The cycle path itself doesn't look old at all. If you're careful, it's actually quite a good place to cycle.
