The ViaRhôna runs over 815 kilometres from the Swiss-French border to the Mediterranean along the Rhône. It is now (2020) not completely finished yet and is part of EuroVelo 17.
Built on a former railway line, the cycle path currently connects Carpentras with Jonquieres. A further expansion to Orange is planned. Since the former railway embankment is often several meters high, you have wonderful views of the Provencal landscape.
