Le Baou des Noirs will take you to the top of a rocky cliff which offers breathtaking views of the Côte d'Azur and the surrounding mountains. You will also be able to see the Baou des Blancs, another popular summit.

Accessible by gravel (40mm tyres) or by mountain bike, the summit of Mont Férion (1412m) will be your finish line if you are a cyclist in full climb. Your reward will be the panoramic view: from the Alps and the Mercantour, to the Mediterranean, passing through the Paillon valley and the Var valley. You will find a watchtower which serves as a lookout to protect the massifs against fire and even houses a small refuge on the ground floor of the tower with a fireplace to warm walkers in difficulty.

The ascent to Mont Chauve is entirely paved, even if the asphalt after the barrier is very damaged, and allows you to reach this panoramic panettone above Nice, enjoying a 360° view. As soon as you leave the M14 turning right for the Mont Chauve road, it takes a little over 7km of ascent over 540m positive; to reach the fort.
