The town belongs to the southern French type of circular villages (circulades) grouped around a church or a castle. Several houses in the town centre are also protected - e.g. the Maison des Emigrants and the Maison des Consuls and of course our house in the rue des remparts. Some parts of the late medieval town wall (remparts) and two gates are still standing.

Magnificent track that makes the junction between Meze - Balaruc le Vieux, the view of the ponds is superb. Attention towards balaruc many walkers the Weekend on the shared track. I advise you to go to the end of the track in Meze to admire the view and have a coffee while wandering on the port

Pézenas is a town made of narrow stone streets, where it is good to get lost. It retains all its charm. The city remembers two illustrious natives: Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, known as Molière, and the incredible singer Bobby Lapointe who knew how to play so well with wordplay in his songs.

we were staying in the medieval town of Pezenas a good spot for reaching both sea and the beautiful interior. i was riding in the morning due to the heat daytime and then we where visiting the beautiful beaches La Tamassiere and Maguelonne. Pezenas has great old city centre and shops with handcraft and art.
