BEAUTIFUL SPORTY WALK WITH A QUIETLY STEEP CLIMB

A beautiful old bridge with a dam over the Ardèche River. Ideal for swimming and watching the canoeists slide down the small dam. There's little shade and it can be very busy in the summer. Accessible via the village of Les Mazes, but be aware that the last section to the parking lot is in very poor condition (stones and holes, natural riverbed gone).

Beautiful view, shortened the round, it was too hot

Only one steep path. On the way back, there was a long stretch along a busy road. I didn't find that very pleasant.

In addition to the magnificent terrain it provides for mountain biking, this small path which starts at the bottom of the valley offers a beautiful view of the Sampzon estate and its gîtes from its first few metres.

The stunning Pont Gadonnes, near Sampzon, is a historic stone bridge spanning the Ardèche River and offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. As you cross the bridge, you will be captivated by the dramatic cliffs and lush vegetation that line the banks of the river. Be sure to explore the charming village of Sampzon, with its winding streets and medieval architecture.

From here, you'll have a breathtaking view of La Bastide Ardèche, a charming country house set in a picturesque setting amid rolling hills and lush green landscapes. La Bastide, an example of traditional French rural architecture, features classic stonework and a rustic feel.
