Pretty church which is reached by a narrow staircase which climbs the hillside, passing next to a moving old cemetery (moss-covered tombs on a steep slope). On the way back to the centre of Emancé, don't miss the pretty town hall in pink pebbles, and the beautiful Michelin marker at the crossroads.

This laundrette was an essential place for the large washes that took place once or twice a year in the countryside. Rebuilt in 1911 and recently restored, it is equipped with a movable floor. It was adjusted to the level of the river so that the washerwomen's feet remained dry. The footbridge was built by the inhabitants of the Billardière district who wanted to attend the church service without having to make a detour to the town hall.

Passing in front of it, the building housing the Hôtel de ville impresses with its elegance. The contrast between the minerals used for the facades, the roof and the large chimneys accentuates this grandiose aspect.
