Historical washing place – in French, this is called a lavoir. In the past, before washing machines existed, villagers used these covered basins to wash their laundry. The Collégiale Saint-Liphard is an old Romanesque church dating from the 11th century. The building is classified as a historic monument. It was built on the tomb of Saint Liphard of Orléans, cousin of Clovis.
