Built shortly before the First World War, the Château du Dourdy was originally intended to house an orphanage school. It eventually housed a war hospital, apprentice sailors, and the Bridge NCO School. In the 1960s, it became a holiday club village managed by the Brittany Family Allowance Fund. Today, it stands empty.

From the shore you have a beautiful view towards the inhabited bridge of Pont-l’Abbé and the town, as well as the church of Saint-Jacques de Lambour. At the end of the port, you can see the towpath that leads to the sea along the GR34, or the Sentier des Douaniers.

Located at the bottom of the estuary and at the crossroads of several roads, the bridge was built by the lords of the castle around the 12th century. It quickly became an obligatory passage for pilgrims, travelers and merchants. The bridge is actually a water reservoir. The buildings of the building house apartments, a biscuit factory and the Le Minor house.

The town hall is located in the former Chateau des Barons du Pont. The chateau was built between the 13th and 18th centuries, but large parts were demolished in the 19th century.
