Beautiful hike from Rimbach pres Masevaux. Large car park by the church. After the restaurant opposite, walk a few more steps uphill. There, a hiking sign turns left. Beautiful hillside path with a view of the village. On the way, you can visit a chapel worth seeing. At the end of the village, a stony path leads uphill to the lakes. A wall separates the two lakes. Two rocks offer an elevated place to rest. The hiking trail turns left to the Ferme Auberge Gresson and turns right uphill to Lac Perche (Star Lake).

With a water surface of approx. 9.2 hectares and a depth of up to 22 meters, the Lac d'Alfeld is one of the largest water reservoirs in southern Alsace. Its main task is to regulate the water level of the Doller. Swimming is allowed at your own risk.
