The gigantic rock formation of La Chapelle awaits you at the destination of the tour. The Bras Rouge falls into the formation, then forms 2 small lakes before flowing further towards the sea. You should take a bathing suit/change of clothes and Tevas or bathing shoes with you. The last few meters are covered in the river with sometimes sharp-edged stones. And if you feel like it, you can swim the last part to the waterfall. It is worth it ..

The Trou de Fer or Trou d'Enfer is a geological depression which constitutes an abyss into which flow several streams which come from the Piton des Neiges. Its name comes from the metallic sound of water falling several hundred meters and hammering the rocks below.

Wonderful landscape, the paths through the jungle are simply terrific.

Magnificent point of view. Take the lead. Iron hole through the forest rather than the basic path which will be in full sun and without any interest.

It is best to walk to the observation platform and not by helicopter. Very nice section through the woods and at the end with the view of the waterfall.
