The Dimitile is a summit which dominates the cirque of Cilaos at an altitude of 1,850 metres. A furnished belvedere as well as an orientation table which details the impressive panorama which is there.

Absolutely unique experience! I have never seen a more beautiful starry sky. In the morning we could see the whole island from above, an incredible feeling!

Aber hier besteht ein besonders eindrucksvoller Blick auf die Felsenwelt mit dem Trennriegel zwischen dem Talkessel von Cilaos und dem Talkessel von Salazie. The weather isn't particularly good... but always take something non-slip with you because nothing is secured, certainly none Paths that are marked in the 16th century.....Emergency kit is also a good idea because there was no emergency call at least during corona times or the iPhone emergency button worked but neither heli nor anyone else came in 3 days.... .
