We were there on a summer Saturday and it wasn't too crowded; the grounds are plenty big enough. You can have a public barbecue, and there are plenty of picnic tables, restrooms, a snack bar, and a small beach. I would avoid it on a busy Sunday.

Touring Lake Aubusson is always a moment of timeless pleasure. The succession of refreshing undergrowth and magnificent viewpoints is simply a treat. The maintenance is always impeccable, the path is without difficulties. Accessible by mountain bike. 100% recommended! ! ! !

Aubusson Lake is the largest leisure center in Livradois-Forez. In summer, swimming is supervised and you can picnic there, sunbathe or fish. This space has received the Blue Flag label which rewards water quality, accessibility and waste management. An ideal place for a stopover or more!
