The church was built between the 12th and 14th centuries. It is an exciting mix of Romanesque and Gothic architecture. It is topped by a square bell tower with a wrought iron spire, as is common in southern France.

The Mont d'Or is 529m high and offers a wonderful view in all directions. On the mountain stands the remains of a tower from the 10th century.

In June 2024, the entire area behind the gate was unfortunately a construction site. A nice stroll through Manosque was therefore not possible.
