The present Catholic parish church of St. Stephen is a late Gothic brick building with a recessed choir, an attached sacristy, and a spindle-shaped tower dating from around 1500. The tower superstructure was remodeled in Baroque style by Erding's master mason, Anton Kogler, after lightning damage in 1701. The nave of the church was expanded in 1911. The Catholic parish church of St. Andrew was probably built in the second half of the 15th century with a south aisle. From 1888 to 1890, it was expanded to include the north aisle and westward. During this time, a sacristy was added, the Baroque furnishings were removed, and the pulpit, two side altars, and high altar were rebuilt. From 1960 to 1966, the church underwent a complete renovation, during which the neo-Gothic furnishings were removed. The brick altar table became the focal point.
