Remarkable trees and view

This small hill is known in the region as an ancient Roman camp, certainly because of the Roman road located nearby. However, no remains have been found to date.

This old Roman road, now converted into a cycle path, is a delight for people who use it. It is also the ideal place to observe the three surrounding mountain ranges: the Vosges, the Black Forest and the Jura.

The Ill, a tributary of the Rhine, is a river that crosses the plain of Alsace. If this watercourse here is quite narrow, it is much wider in other places, such as Strasbourg. It is bordered by trees which create a magnificent natural atmosphere.

The Saint-Maurice church was built in 1925. It replaces an old church which was destroyed during the First World War.

Grentzingen is a real open-air museum! The half-timbered houses typical of the region will charm your eyes. You will also find the necessary shops to stock up on supplies.

This Romanesque church is one of the Romanesque nuggets of Sundgau. Dating from 1144, it is classified as a historical monument. We can appreciate its sober structure which makes it beautiful.

Built in the 18th and 19th centuries, the Pfiffer chapel was badly damaged during the First World War, then restored in 1960. It takes its name from the place where it sits.
