It is the same climb as the Col de Meyrand. The climb is quite gentle and rolling but very long! more than 20km to the Col de Loubaresse and 22.5 to the Col de Meyrand. The view up there is magnificent. Loubaresse is a very small village of about forty inhabitants, one of the least populated in Ardèche.

The village of Chambonas is made up of three buildings which shape its character: the castle, the church and the bridge. It is located on the edge of the Chassezac and is located on a formerly popular road linking the south to the Massif Central. The alignment of the castle with the arches of the bridge, the slate roof and the beautiful stones visible to all give it an authentic appearance.
