The Château de Pernant is a modest-sized medieval fortress located in Pernant, in the Soissonnais region of France. It is the historic monumental part of a larger whole, the Pernant estate, which serves as a cultural and musical center. The castle dates from the 14th/15th century and was rebuilt in the 16th century. During the First World War the area was bombed, causing extensive damage to the castle.

The Joost Van Vollenhoven Memorial 1914-1918 is a monument dedicated to a French officer and colonial administrator who died during the First World War. The monument is located near the village of Longpont, in the forest of Villers-Cotterêts, where you will find many trails of different lengths and difficulties. You can run in the woods, admire historical monuments and pay tribute to fallen soldiers. Longpont Abbey is a former Cistercian monastery dating from the 12th century. The abbey is located in the Savière valley, surrounded by the Retz forest, which offers many trails for running.
