Biarritz’s Grande Plage is a fantastic place for mountain bikers looking to explore the coastal beauty of the Basque region. Although it’s primarily known as a surfing centre, the beach and surrounding area offers a mix of sandy and rocky terrain, perfect for mountain biking. You can start your ride from the promenade, heading towards more rugged trails that run along the coastline.

⚠️If too crowded up there, the desk receptionist might refuse you to enter even though you bought tickets online for that day and hour ! And you would have to negotiate with the Tourist organisation in order to get reimbursed ... so do not wait for 30 min before the closing time to get in !
