Robert the Devil's Castle is a medieval fortress dating from the time of the Dukes of Normandy. The castle is named after Robert the Devil, a legendary figure who was either Robert II of Bellême or Robert the Magnificent, the father of William the Conqueror. The castle is located on a cliff which overlooks the Seine valley and offers panoramic views of the region.
