This Harten, which is the size of a small park, is a total work of art. I am not judging it from a botanical perspective, but as someone who paints under the influence of impressionism. Later, the pond was enlarged to its current size. The water garden is asymmetrical and curved. Monet was inspired by Japanese gardens, which he knew from prints. The painter was a passionate collector of Japanese woodcuts.

A highlight not to be missed. Whether you like Monet or not, his gardens are beautiful! It is a tourist attraction, so it is a good idea to be there at the beginning of the day. In high season it is very busy.
