The castle of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, also called "Château Vieux" as opposed to "Château Neuf", is a former residence of the kings of France. It was the place where many peace treaties and royal edicts were signed. Located in the center of Saint-Germain-en-Laye in the Yvelines, it is now dedicated to the National Archeology Museum.
