Here, the Munster Valley cycle route crosses the forest that shelters the old Schwarzenberg Castle. A lovely wooded setting, with the added bonus of a small hill to pick up speed on the descent.

The cycle path and small roads between Metzeral and Munster offer lovely views. This is where the valley is at its narrowest. Don't hesitate to climb a little higher for an even more beautiful panorama.

Pretty little village, ideal for hiking starting and finishing points, as there is a train station.

The 19th-century Protestant church, built of pink sandstone, is the heart of the town. From the grand staircase, you have a beautiful view over the large square with its small cafés and restaurants, and the Lion Fountain from 1576, which originally stood in front of the town hall.

The Wine Route mostly follows the EV5. A beautiful route and easy to navigate.
