La Croix de Wihr is a memorial cross at an altitude of about 800 metres, located between Labaroche and Hohrod in the Vosges. It marks the site of a French ambush on 19 August 1914, during the early stages of the First World War, in which around 300 soldiers were killed – 21 on the French side and more than 250 on the German side.

Wedged between the Orbey and Munster valleys, known for their high and famous peaks in Alsace, the Petit Hohnack is not the highest mountain in the Vosges. However, it offers a beautiful setting for walking around Trois-Épis, with beautiful views of the Fecht valley and the Alsace plain in its surroundings.
