Welcome to the Grandes Baraques. This forest hamlet located in the heart of Chailluz is a must-see. As much from a practical point of view, as playful. Practical, because you will find there a drinking fountain, toilets and a pleasant picnic area. The Roche-lez-Beaupré towpath runs along the Rhine-Rhône canal which separates from the Doubs to allow many boaters to go down or up the river throughout the Doubs valley. A very vegetated portion of the course. Do not hesitate to watch for Kingfishers along the banks. You will find along the way a small authentic bistro to stop by the water and enjoy the view.
