The Fort du Parmont was built between 1874 and 1876. It is a structure that is part of the fortifications of eastern France of the Séré de Rivières type. It is located in the municipality of Remiremont and is part of the defensive curtain of the Upper Moselle (Wikipedia). Unfortunately, the fort was closed and we were unable to visit it.
