Located in the heart of the village of Corminboeuf, this medieval chapel has preserved its wall paintings and is decorated with beautiful polychrome wooden statues, in particular an Auvergne-style virgin and child as well as an imposing Saint-Georges.

180° view of the Bernese Alps and the Gantrisch massif

It is in the hollow of a valley dug by the Glâne that pretty sculptures were created, carved directly from stumps or blocks of noble stone. Founded in 2005, the Matran Sculpte association aims to introduce sculpture to a wide audience while promoting cultural and artistic exchanges between sculptors from here and elsewhere. Every two years it organizes an international sculpture symposium bringing together 10 sculptors from all over the world. For 10 days, the sculptors create a work in front of the public according to a defined theme. Wood and stone are the materials used for the symposium. Access indicated by carved oak panels.
