Hike up to the old Château-Naillac with its twin 12th-century donjons—towers without buttresses—standing just above the Creuse River. Inside, you'll find remnants of prisoners' graffiti, a hall with a magnificent Romanesque fireplace, and a model showing what the castle once looked like.

The La Forge Inn is located in a very beautiful location. In fine weather, the terrace is open to you in the garden and allows you to enjoy the shaded and flowered arbors. Located on a small height which offers a very extensive view of the valley, the castle is made up of two buildings at right angles with several turrets. With the exception of a few buttresses, the traces of fortifications still visible at the beginning of the 17th century have now disappeared.

Very pretty view of the Château d'Ingrandes when crossing the bridge. You will find a small grocery store and a café/bar next to the post office in the center of the village.

Located in the Brenne Regional Natural Park, Igrandes is a good starting point for many walks, particularly on the Vallées greenway (V94). We have a beautiful view from the Anglin river bridge, over the village and its superb castle.
