The hike is beautiful and safe. Except for one major drawback: if you have a dog, be careful because there are several farm properties with dogs running free!! There is a waterfall at the end of the hike.

Anyone interested in the Second World War can get a very interesting insight into the structure, function and life in a coastal defense battery. Tours can be taken here with an audio guide in various languages (including German). It's worth it and the entrance fee of €8 per person (as of May 2024) is absolutely fair.
