The summit of Finiels is the highest point of Mont Lozère at 1,699 meters above sea level. The views from the top are impressive, the sunsets magnificent. I advise you to take a refueling break to enjoy the privileged panorama.
The nature resort of Mont Lozère is a perfect site for a stopover in the middle of a hike. It has many catering and accommodation services. Shops are open both in summer and winter and some centers offer sports activities.
The Bougès signal, located at 1421 meters, offers a beautiful panorama of the Cévennes, the peaks of Hérault and the Languedoc plain. If you climb it when there are few clouds, you can even see Mont Ventoux and the Pre-Alps.
