You can ride right up to the castle then climb up onto the top. The views spectacular

From the bridge over the Loire and then to the right is a drama! Too narrow, poorly visible and even dangerous. Over the road to Artias is much better.

Very pretty

With the patronage of "John the Baptist", this parish has chosen a saint who is considered a forerunner of Jesus Christ. In Christian theology, he is the voice of the voice in the desert prophesied in the Old Testament book of Isaiah: "A voice calls out: In the desert prepare the way for the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God!" (Luther Bible). John is the son of Zechariah and Elizabeth, who was visited by the Mother of God Mary when she learned from the Archangel Gabriel that she herself was to give birth to Jesus Christ, and her - until then childless - relative was still pregnant in old age. The feast day of Saint Jean Baptist in the calendar of saints is June 24th.

It is a road bridge but not without its charm. From here, you enjoy breathtaking views of the Loire and the surrounding hills.

In Vorey flows the Arzon. This charming village of Velay in the Haute-Loire department has a multimedia room on the town hall square with more than 200 seats. It is dedicated to culture and shows. On the program at L’Embarcadère: plays, conferences and cinema. Who is talking about a cultural desert here? A good example of promoting culture in the countryside.

The Lavoûte-sur-Loire bridge offers magnificent views of the river and the surrounding green hills. You're driving on a secondary road, so it's not the best place to stop, but you can still enjoy it!
