The hike to the viewpoint above Cartalavonu offers breathtaking panoramic views of the sea. As you climb, the trail winds through lush vegetation, giving glimpses of the coastline below. Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with sweeping views of the Mediterranean, stretching as far as the eye can see.

Very beautiful, easy to reach mountain with a view and a cross on the summit. However, the hiking maps do not agree on which of the two peaks is Monte Calva, as there are two elevations quite close to each other. It is best to climb both. :)

The pretty little mountain village of Levie is located at the crossroads of several hiking trails. This historic village was one of the first liberated from the Nazi occupiers. There is also the Alta Rocca Museum and the archaeological sites of Cucuruzzu and Capula.

The village of Levie is located in the Corsica region called L'Alta Rocca. Every year in September, medieval festivals take place in the village. The archaeological sites of Cucuruzzu and Capula are highly recommended to visit. You will discover a Protohistoric village built during the Bronze Age (Cucuruzzu), as well as a medieval chapel (Capula). A very beautiful path which evolves in a granite chaos takes you there. The sites can be discovered not far from the village thanks to a landscaped path.

From this summit you have a fantastic 360 degree view. You can see the Bavella group and Monte Incudine, the east and west coasts of Corsica, the Gulf of Porto Veccio and Sardinia.
