This road is a great ride. The road winds gently along a wooded hillside with great vistas. It is well paved and free of traffic and has a gentle upward slope towards Seillans.

A great climb from La Clappe towards Ampus on a well surfaced, winding road with a fairly constant slope of 6%.

Fantastic walk. If you park at the Hotel. Walk back to the bridge and turn left. The path down starts immediately over the bridge on the right.

It's a struggle up the road with luggage, but it's worth every meter! The village of Ampus and the gentler roads of the plateau are a dream beyond compare.
