The Church of Saint-Félix-de-Cantalice was built in 1918 in Wingen-sur-Moder. It is distinguished by its onion-domed bell tower, the spire of which was damaged during the Second World War and subsequently repaired. It overlooks the surrounding plain beautifully.

A place with a historical background that has been beautifully arranged with some works of art and subtle lighting.

Visited on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation by the US forces in March 1945. Michel Klein is a knowledgeable and caring curator of all the memorabilia donated by American and French families whose fathers, brothers, and uncles died and/or survived the conflicts that took place.

A very large selection of cakes. A true French patisserie. The staff speaks excellent German. Sandwiches are also available for purchase. Seating is available inside and outside for dining! Highly recommended!

I enjoyed a delicious baguette and a pain au chocolate here on my tour. Not world-record-worthy, but good and inexpensive. Open for lunch.

The climb from Rosteig up towards Volksberg is one of the more difficult climbs in the Northern Vosges. However, it's also one of the most beautiful.
