Remains of a Gallo-Roman theater dating from the 1st century and able to accommodate approximately 18,000 spectators. This theater is among the largest known on French territory (142 meters in diameter) and testifies to the importance of the ancient city of Epomanduodurum which extended over some 160 hectares. The ruins can be visited freely, but in July and August free guided tours are offered.
