The chapel was built in 1313 by Hugues de Bouville. In the 18th century, it was abandoned. It was finally sold as national property during the Revolution. It was restored in 1861 and 1974. Between 1909 and 1910, it was the object of major pilgrimages in memory of Saint Vincent de Paul.

Standing in the heart of the Gâtinais, the Courances estate extends over 75 hectares and includes a magnificent 17th century castle as well as its park and vegetable garden. Closed during the winter, it opens its doors the rest of the year for fun visits. If you're not pressed for time, don't hesitate to drop by.

Very beautiful road which crosses the forest and makes it possible to join Achères and the Route Ronde. Do not rely on the nomenclature of the Komoot map, the road is well paved and passable by road bike over the entire length, even if it remains a forest road with its small irregularities.
