Troglodyte village a must-see, easy access by road bike.

40.2 km long, the river has its source in Nanteuil-le-Haudouin (Oise), and flows from east to west. It waters the town of Senlis, as well as the park of the Château de Chantilly where it is channeled, and flows into the Oise at Gouvieux, on the edge of Villers-sous-Saint-Leu, at an altitude of 30 m. The Manse pavilion, built in 1678 by the Prince of Condé, houses the machine for playing the big waters. In 1141, a royal act of Louis VI already mentions the existence of many vines on the ground of Gouvieux. Even today, the streets or localities of the town bear traces of it: rue de la Treille, the Clos du Roi, the Clos Saint-Denis...
