From the Via Flavine, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Corboeuf ravine, where the wild beauty of the landscape is offered to you. You will notice the natural relief of the region, the contrast between the eroded rock formations and the surrounding greenery.

Blanlhac is surrounded by juices. Emeral Juice is two kilometers north of the village. The small town is also close to the Suc de Jalore (to the south) and the basalt organs of Mézères (to the east). It borders the Ran river which has numerous mills on its watercourse. This village has a common oven, a legacy of ancient times, it was a communal wood-fired oven. It was made available by the lord of the surrounding area to the service of the inhabitants so that they could come and bake their bread there. For each cooking the lord collected a tax.

The Lavoûte-sur-Loire bridge offers magnificent views of the river and the surrounding green hills. You're driving on a secondary road, so it's not the best place to stop, but you can still enjoy it!

The surroundings of Saint Quentin offer magnificent views of the Puy-en-Velay basin and the Loire.

Mézères is a remarkable village and should appear in my opinion in the list of the most beautiful villages of France. The inhabitants knew how to make marvelous use of the volcanic environment of their country. The houses are built of phonolites and other volcanic stones, and instead of tiles to cover the roofs, there are lauzes (large and heavy flat stones). On the town you will also find a basalt organ, proof of the intense geological activity, 12 million years ago.
