Interesting elevation that rises above the Doul pond. From the top you have an open and very beautiful view of the lagoon system that goes from Gruissan to the cliffs of Cap Leucate

Walking along the piers that run along the lagoon allows you to enjoy unique views as well as admire up close the numerous birds that populate it.

After roughly an hour of car safari in the Safari Park Reserve Africaine de Sigean, you arrive at a huge parking lot with lots of picnic areas and toilets. From there you can then get to the beautifully laid out zoo area. My husband, our dog Bronco and I really enjoyed our visit to the Safari Park Reserve Africaine de Sigean! In total, we spent almost four lovely hours there.

A walk through the village, including the cemetery with its ancient trees, is worthwhile! Good place to stop off at the village square at "Le Tonneau". Good food! The drive or hike to Bages is also recommended. Opportunity to see pink flamingos on the way. Bages is also a pretty village, located on the slope above the lake and offers wonderful views!

To taste wine 18.00 - 19.00. And buy a good wine of the wine yard nearby the Château. Château du lac is in renovation, and has a interesting history. The friendly owners can tell you al about this. There is also a nice walk to the lake.
