멋진 가을 하이킹! 파란색 길로 올라가 노란색 길로 내려왔으며, 이것이 순환 하이킹에 권장되는 방향임을 확인할 수 있습니다. 10월 초 평일에 방문했는데 전혀 붐비지 않았습니다. 길은 잘 표시되어 있고 표시는 찾기 쉽습니다. 다행히 길은 대부분 건조했고, 주로 두꺼운 마른 잎으로 덮여 있었습니다. 중간 난이도 등급은 타당합니다. 정상 바로 전에 기술적으로 더 까다로운 등반 구간이 있지만 충분히 가능합니다. 그 외에는 길을 걷기 쉬웠습니다(첫 절반 동안 고도를 얻지만). 적당한 오르막길의 도전을 즐겼고, 정상에서의 피크닉과 함께 멋진 경치를 감상했으며, 길이 물과 평행하게 이어지는 구간을 따라 내려왔습니다.

It is recommended to hike the trail clockwise. This way, you can enjoy some panoramic views in the direction you are walking on the descent.

This is a great trailhead that fills up very quickly during the high season. From here you can hike Mount Major via trails of varying difficulty levels, and the trail system extends all the way to Gilford over the mountains should you choose to go farther. There are portable restrooms at the trailhead.

At this point in your hike you'll be treated to spectacular, panoramic views of Mount Lafayette to your left, and Mount Lincoln on your right.

The Falling Waters Trail is a 2.6-mile round-trip hike to Little Haystack Mountain, known for its beautiful waterfalls. Starting from the Trailhead Parking Lot or Lafayette Campground, hikers first encounter Stairs Falls, followed by the 60-foot Swiftwater Falls. The highlight of this hike is the 80-foot Cloudland Falls, a fan-shaped waterfall visible from trail. The hike can continue to the Franconia Ridge Trail, but caution is advised as the terrain becomes more challenging and the trail becomes a bit more exposed.

Cloudland Falls, an 80-foot waterfall, is the third waterfall along the Falling Waters Trail. Hikers can enjoy stunning views of the falls from the trail. The Falling Waters Trail, which leads to Little Haystack Mountain, is a popular hike. Those wanting to visit Cloudland Falls don't need to complete the entire 5.6-mile trail to see the waterfall.
