A fortress stood here in the Middle Ages. It was destroyed in 1629. Nothing of it remains. However, the view of the Tarn is very impressive. A sign provides orientation.

It's a shame that this part of the Tarn Gorge only consists of reservoirs. the area is beautiful, the water fascinatingly blue-green, but unfortunately the gorge has lost some of its character.
