It is an unusual half-moon stone structure holding the water, with three strange heads out of whose mouths the water flows down to the river.

From a distance, one might mistake it for a typical wayside cross, like the small sacred monuments found in many places. But upon closer inspection, the true significance of this memorial reveals itself: to commemorate the many victims claimed by war and tyranny in so many places. Thus, they remain significant today as a constant reminder to maintain peace—despite the significant time gap between those days and the present, these memorials lose none of their relevance.

The area surrounding Castle Green offers picturesque views of the castle ruins and a greenery for visitors interested in England's rich history and architecture

The remains of St Mary's Abbey are situated in the grounds of St Nicholas' Church and in an adjacent area of Abbey Fields. Some of its ruins are above ground and some are below ground.

Large green park with many tarmac'd paths in good condition. Also contains football and cricket pitches, foot-golf course, tennis courts, skate park and childrens' activity playground. There are two cafes within the two pavillions, along with ornamental areas with ponds. There is a large War Memorial monument. The park is also home to Coventry Park Run.

Worth the trip to see.
