Parc Saint-Blaise is located near the Mine Bleue, a former slate mine now open to visitors. The park offers a variety of activities for all ages, such as swimming, pedal boats, mini golf and playgrounds. You can also walk around the ponds and admire the natural beauty of the area. The park is open from July 1 to September 1, from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Madeleine Church in Segré is a stunning example of 19th century architecture, inspired by the Italian Renaissance, with a dome that rises 30 meters high. You can admire the frescoes, stained glass windows and pendants that support the dome. The church is located on a hill overlooking the River Oudon, where you can take a picturesque walk along the banks or hire a boat from the port.

The parish church of Saint-Caprais-et-Saint-Laurent is very representative of the many churches built in Anjou in the 19th century to replace medieval churches, which had become too cramped or damaged by the Revolution. The church of Loire was built from 1862 to 1866, after demolition of the previous building. In neo-Romanesque style, it has a Latin cross plan and a porch bell tower, as well as a nave of four bays.

Gemme lived at the end of the 1st century AD in Lusitania (current Portugal). This "Portuguese" woman had come to Aquitaine where her fame was very much alive from the earliest antiquity. Of remarkable beauty, of great distinction, she devoted herself entirely to Jesus Christ, in celibacy for the Kingdom of Heaven, in poverty and service, taking God as the only spouse who deserved his love. Jealous men decided to martyr her to death. Like Jesus, she asked God the Father to forgive her executioners, "because they do not know what they are doing". His courage inspired many conversions to Christianity. More than ten localities placed under his name in this region testify to his reputation.
