Nestled within captivating surroundings, Winterley Pool emerges as a favoured fishing lake, offering a tranquil haven for both anglers and nature enthusiasts alike. An idea spot to pause and immerse oneself in the breathtaking scenery. Abundant in wildlife, the pool is graced by a resident flock of mute swans.

Open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Wheelock Farm Shop offers both Tearooms and a convenient farm shop. Situated conveniently nearby is Wheelock War Memorial, a poignant tribute honouring the lives lost during World War I and II.

Wybunbury Moss is on the outskirts of the village and is a Natural England Nature Reserve. The pathways can be muddy in the middle, but there are boardwalks around the area. Wybunbury Tower stands on the site of St Chad's Church in the village. It is one of the most impressive church towers in Cheshire.

Stretching over a 2 km span of pathway, the Wheelock Rail Trail offers a tranquil and car-free route. It runs in parallel with Trent and Mersey Canal, providing a seamless connection. Watchlane Flash is one of fourteen wetlands that make up the Sandbach Flashes. It has a biodiverse ecosystem, and you can see lots of different wildlife and vegetation.

Nestled within the picturesque landscapes, Hurleston Reservoir runs alongside the Hurleston junction, the point where the Llangollen Canal intersects with the Shropshire Union Canal. Now a residential dwelling, Sandbach Mill was once a water powered corn mill, which was operated until 1947. The Roman road it is situated on, is thought to be 2000 years old.

Haslington Hall was constructed by Admiral Sir Francis Vernon in the year 1545. Embedded within its walls are remnants of the original medieval manor house, believed to trace their origins back to the year 1480. The history of Haslington Hall, is unknown, as many early records about the hall were stored in a Manchester bank vault that fell victim to destruction during the bombings of World War II in 1940.

Queen's Park in Crewe is an inviting space within the heart of the town. The riverside of Nantwich, presents an enjoyable route that traces alongside the meandering River Weaver and encircles the charming Nantwich Lake. This scenic path is conveniently situated within a short distance from the town's historic centre, allowing easy access. Notably, the riverside area has a saline spring, a pivotal element that feeds the open-air swimming pool.
