This tower was originally four stories high. A geological feature can also be seen here: the right rock face, tilted forward, has left erosion marks on the left rock face.

A true insider tip, you can spend a few hours exploring here, rummaging through the ruins to your heart's content, and dreaming about what it used to look like. Everything is nestled in an idyllic valley. The village above is a bit sleepy, but charming. Since we were completely alone here, we liked it better than the more touristy Tours de Merle.
