Right next to the Schlosshalde guesthouse (with a very beautiful garden) is the picturesque, medieval Mörsburg Castle. Opening hours: open from May to October, Wednesday to Saturday 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Public tours every 3rd Sunday of the month, reservation recommended

Very well-preserved castle, in the annex there is an inn

After 1841, the Mörsburg stood empty for sixty years, then the Historical Antiquarian Society Winterthur set up shop there, which has used the castle as a museum ever since. Until 2000 the castle warden lived in an apartment on the 3rd floor of the castle. Since June 2016, the Mörsburg has been looked after by the neighboring inn and restaurant Schlosshalde.

A beautiful view over the valley and the Mörsburg right next to it. The Gasthaus Schlosshalde has a great terrace (https://www.moersburg-winterthur.ch/). I'm always happy to be here.
