This road takes you to Camping Le Clot de Jay, a great way to warm up your legs. If you prefer running, this is a slightly more challenging section of a pleasant road, with only a slight incline.

The way to get there is essentially on the road but it is almost deserted and the view of the gorges is sublime.

This stone was engraved in the 6th century to recall the passage of Dadanus, a powerful man. This Christian, correspondent of Saint-Augustin and prefect of Gaul, had come to retire to Saint-Geniez to found a “City of God” in the valley.

Located in the Prealps of Digne, near the confluence of the Sasse and the Vermeil, this small village dates back to Antiquity. Renowned for its wine-growing activity, it is also known for its agricultural operations, notably with the production of two AOCs and nine IGPs.

Here, the trail passes a few meters from the Vanson. A tributary of the Durance, it is therefore a sub-tributary of the Rhône. There is an old destroyed bridge as well as a small footbridge. This place allows you to treat yourself to a pleasant moment of freshness.
