Very spectacular hike above the cliffs of Les Mees, with great views. However, good sure-footedness (sturdy shoes) and a head for heights are absolutely necessary!

Forcalquier is a town located in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department, in the Provence region. Forcalquier is known as a typical Provencal town and is therefore a popular holiday destination. The town is built around a steep hill and is located about thirty kilometers south of Sisteron.

Forcalquier is a commune in the French department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region which had a population of 5,115[1] on January 1, 2020. The place is the sub-prefecture of the arrondissement of Forcalquier.
