This section of the Sihl River is truly breathtaking. Crystal-clear water flows gracefully around massive boulders that rise majestically from the riverbed. The sound of the water cascading over the stones adds a soothing rhythm to the natural symphony of the landscape.

A great and impressive place. Duck your head when walking through. Beautiful icicles in winter, occasionally closed during rain due to landslides.

The traces of storms from recent years and decades are clearly visible here. The Sihl does not always flow so peacefully...

Bathing and barbecue area

Tunnels, caves, single trails... A completely surprising and surreal area so close to the city of Zurich. The paths here are narrow and are often used for walking and hiking. Be considerate, be friendly and push your bike a bit. That way you can enjoy the Sihlsprung - and so can the others. Thank you!

The Sihlmättli is known for its fish dishes.

You can do the loop in many different ways, from Sihlbrugg or from Hirzel, it doesn't matter it's always nice and pleasant along the water even in summer. We do our rounds there at any time of the year. https://youtu.be/0BjRSJMVxmA

While the Sihl seems very tamed and straightened between Zurich and Sihlbrugg, it becomes downright wild between Sihlbrugg and Sihlmatte. From time to time it has to be pushed. But the section is an absolute gravel highlight.
