If you plan to sleep there, you must book your night online, on the PNRC (Corsican Regional Natural Park) website. The tour is no longer possible after severe flooding and landslides in November 2023. You can no longer get any further by car after the Tuani campsite. Instead, shuttle buses drive to a point (A Frasetta) just before the collapsed bridge; further on, you can only get there on foot, as large parts of the road have been washed away. There is a well-marked hiking trail to the Bergerie du Melo, which takes about 2 hours. The Bergerie du Melo is open, from here you can continue to the mountain lakes, but you have to allow 3.5-4 hours more walking time.
