On a limestone spur above the Vezouze lies the Château de Blâmont, built around 1200. Once the seat of the Counts of Blâmont, later a romantic castle and even a weaving mill. The chapel dedicated to Saint-Joseph is in the shape of a Greek cross. It was erected at a place called “Le Calvaire”. The first stone was laid on August 16, 1858. It was the priest-archpriest of Réchicourt who presided over the inauguration on May 27, 1866. In 1879, priest Poirine donated the chapel and the oratory to the parish.
